Day Two Part One: Bottle rockets, crate stacking, challenge course, mountain biking - you name it, we're doing it!

So far, we’ve been pretty lucky with the weather: a bit windy, a touch muddy underfoot, but still (mostly!) dry. The activities have been fun-packed and full of enthusiasm. We’ve just polished off our lunch — chicken goujons with potato cubes, or a jacket potato with vegetables and salad — and we’re now heading out for our next round of adventures.

★ UPDATE ★

We’re now on our third session of the day and, although the weather has decided to mix things up a bit, our spirits remain gloriously undampened! There’s been plenty of memory-making and some truly impressive resilience from every single child.

Mr Eynon’s group has been whizzing around on the mountain bikes; Mrs Whitby’s adventurers tackled the Tree Top Trail (think Go Ape with extra giggles); Mrs Hutley’s team took on the challenge course; and Mrs Ferguson’s group tried their hand at archery. Non-stop fun all round!

The children have been working brilliantly as teams—supporting one another, stepping outside their comfort zones, and giving everything a go with a fantastic can-do attitude. They should all be incredibly proud of themselves.

Onwards to the fourth activity of the day! 🌟
